About Katanx
Last updated: April 7, 2026
Katanx is a high-fidelity operational system built specifically for performance and visual arts. It is engineered to act as the ultimate mirror for practitioners—a place to log, distribute, and score somatic and creative output.
The Mission
Most social media architectures are optimized for transient engagement and algorithmic slot-machines. Katanx is optimized for signal. We believe that martial arts, movement culture, and deep visual practices require a platform that respects the rigorousness of the work.
Engineering Philosophy
Our architecture—spanning The Stream, Studio, and The Wire—is built on a foundation of deterministic routing and pristine media delivery.
- Zero-Latency Media: Edge-routed video delivery designed to parse rapid movement and choreography without systemic artifacting.
- Chronological Defiance: The Wire utilizes intelligence graphs to surface the most critical intelligence based on signal quality, not just recency.
- Somatic Primates: We are building the tools necessary to interface biological performance with digital telepresence.
The Structure
Katanx operates entirely remotely, with engineering hubs and core contributors distributed globally. We prioritize autonomous, high-leverage work driven by practitioners who also write code.
