Cookie Policy

Last updated: April 7, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Katanx Inc. uses cookies and similar operational technologies to recognize you when you visit our platform and mobile applications. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control our use of them.

1. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small data files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are ubiquitous in modern engineering; they enable essential functionalities such as secure authentication routines, session state persistence, and performance telemetry routing.

2. How We Use Cookies

We classify our cookies into three operational tiers:

2.1 Essential Platform Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary to provide you with the core services available through our Platform. This includes authentication tokens (e.g., Supabase session data) and edge routing configurations. Because these are essential for platform operation, you cannot refuse them without impacting the functionality of Katanx.

2.2 Performance and Telemetry Cookies

These cookies collect information that is used either in aggregate form to help us understand how our Platform is functioning or to measure the effectiveness of our infrastructure delivery. We use this data to optimize load times and reduce latency.

2.3 Functional State Cookies

These cookies allow our systems to remember deterministic choices you make (such as language preference or dark mode settings) to provide a more personalized, fluid UI experience.

3. Third-Party Data Storage

In some specific cases, we use trusted third parties (such as payment processing modules within Studio) that may place their own secure tokens. These tokens are bound by the third party's rigorous privacy and security controls.

4. Control and Deletion

You have the right to decide whether to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can exercise your cookie rights by setting your preferences in your browser or operating system settings.

Please note that if you choose to reject essential platform cookies, your access to authenticated surfaces (such as The Stream and Studio) will be fundamentally degraded or denied.

5. Further Architecture Inquiries

If you have any detailed inquiries regarding our implementation of state persistence technologies, please contact our engineering trust team at privacy@katanx.com.
