Safety & Reporting Protocols

Last updated: April 7, 2026

Katanx is engineered to be a premier environment for rigorous practice and expression. Maintaining the integrity of this environment requires deterministic enforcement of safety protocols and immediate response to operational threats.

1. The Zero-Tolerance Threat Matrix

Our architecture and moderation teams operate on a zero-tolerance policy for the following critical violations:

  • Physical Threats & Violence: Any content indicating intent to perform targeted physical harm.
  • Exploitative Material: Distribution of non-consensual intimate media or child exploitation material (CSAM).
  • Systemic Abuse: Coordinated harassment, doxxing, or malicious brigading of practitioners.
  • Infrastructure Attacks: Deployment of malware, phishing nodes, or denial-of-service vectors.

2. Reporting Mechanisms

Safety is a distributed responsibility. Every media object, post, and profile within the Katanx architecture features a native Report Signal button.

Activating a Report Signal immediately routes the object into our high-priority Trust & Safety queue. Our systems prioritize signals based on the severity class selected and the historical reliability of the reporter.

3. The Moderation Pipeline

When an asset enters the moderation pipeline:

  1. Automated Triage: Intelligence layers scan for known high-risk hashes and deterministic threat signatures.
  2. Human Verification: Complex cases regarding context (especially within martial arts or visceral performance art) are escalated to human engineering and trust specialists.
  3. Action & Telemetry: Violating content is purged. Repeat offenders face immediate edge-level and database-level bans.

4. Practitioner Appeals

We recognize the nuanced nature of performance art and physical disciplines. If your content is removed due to a false positive within our safety algorithms, you may initiate an operational appeal from your Studio Dashboard. Appeals are reviewed exclusively by human specialists trained in performance context.

5. Direct Legal & Law Enforcement Contact

Law enforcement agencies executing valid legal process (subpoenas, warrants) or reporting imminent threats to life should route secure communications directly to safety-ops@katanx.com. We comply aggressively with valid legal mandates to preserve human safety.
