Contributing to Katanx
Last updated: April 7, 2026
Katanx relies heavily on community-driven intelligence—both in surfacing critical performance analysis via The Wire, and in refining our open-source edge infrastructure.
Contributing to The Wire
The Wire is an intelligence aggregation engine. It relies on a deterministic list of high-signal feeds (`packages/wire-core/feeds.json`). If you manage a high-quality RSS feed, blog, or publication related to martial arts, movement culture, or performance engineering, you can submit a PR to include your feed.
Criteria for Feed Inclusion:
- Must exhibit consistent, high-signal technical analysis.
- Must not rely heavily on clickbait or engagement algorithms.
- Must maintain valid RSS/Atom XML structure.
Open Source Infrastructure
While Katanx is a proprietary operational system, several of our core tooling libraries, specifically around somatic data parsing and video encoding pipelines, are available on the Katanx Open Source GitHub organization.
How to submit code:
- Review the `CONTRIBUTING.md` file in the specific repository.
- Ensure all telemetry and logging requirements are met.
- Submit a PR with passing integration tests.
Security Disclosures
If you are a security researcher and have discovered a vulnerability within the Katanx architecture (e.g., within our authentication proxies or RLS schemas), do not disclose it publicly or submit a public PR. Securely route your findings to security@katanx.com to engage our bug bounty protocol.
